Severe abuse at Chinese police stations
Via friends, I'm receiving several reports now that the situations in the Lhasa police stations are incredible. Apparently, people who need medical attention (and a lot of them are of course, knowing how the Chinese deal with arrested people) are not receiving any.
Many Tibetans who were wounded and shot during the riots do not dare to go to the hospital, in fear of being arrested, and still receive no medical attention.
I read a first unconfirmed report that one protester had all his limbs broken at the police station, and his body was dumped on the street of his home.
With the Chinese trying to block any news coming out of Tibet, confirmations of these messages are obviously difficult...
